Amanda (by Gregg)

When I met Amanda, I was immediately drawn to her kindness and love of life and what I soon discovered was her intelligence, artistic talent and athleticism. She has a smile that can brighten up a whole room. I love having Amanda as my wife!

Everyone adores Amanda for her sincerity, thoughtfulness, happy nature, and strong desire to help others. She watches her friend's 2-year old, Joey, to reduce the amount of days he has to attend daycare while his mom finishes her internship as an occupational therapist. It was always a treat to walk into Amanda's 1st grade classroom. Her students idolized her! She is such a talented teacher, turning little kid's energy into fun, learning activities.

Amanda is an awesome Mom. She made her own organic baby food for Liliana and she still likes making her healthy and yummy food, without going overboard. Her creativity and experiences as a first grade teacher make for a wonderful combination to entertain, engage, and nurture any child. This has allowed Liliana to learn proper boundaries and behavior while having fun; and it has given me tools and resources that help me be a better Dad.

Liliana can't get enough of Amanda. She squeals with excitement whenever Mommy is around. I always like coming home to hear about their day's adventures together. Lily is a very lucky little girl! If you entrust us with your baby, I know Amanda will shower your little one with unconditional love and affection.

Gregg (by Amanda)

Everyone who meets Gregg LOVES him! His playful nature and wit add joy to all activities. He is someone who can easily get into a meaningful conversation with anyone, whether he/she is 2, 13, or 99. I love his genuine, kind, outgoing, and lively personality.

He is an amazing Dad who is constantly planning new and exciting daddy-daughter dates. On Sunday afternoons he takes Liliana to art class. I eagerly wait to hear all the details when they return. Usually Liliana is talking so quickly that I can only understand a few words at first because she is so excited. I also like seeing all the paint on Daddy -- got to love him!

Gregg is patient, loving, and supportive. He cherishes his family more than anything in the world. My heart melts when I see him with Liliana; he adores her and she adores him. I am very lucky have a husband who is involved in all aspects of our lives --whether it is helping Liliana use the potty, making dinner, putting on a family puppet show or simply making us laugh.

I grew up outside Boston in an amazingly close family. I have a twin sister, Sarah, and two younger brothers, Carl and Kevin. As adults, we all live within 20 minutes of each other. I have always loved having a twin sister! In high school we were co-captains of the swim and cross- country teams. Growing up we were encouraged to try new things, but I never felt pressured. All issues in our family were addressed openly. Throughout my life I could talk to my mom about anything, no matter how embarrassing. I hope my children will feel the same way about Gregg and me. I was very close to my dad as well, but in middle school you couldn't have paid me to talk to him about boys!

Ever since I was little I knew I wanted to be a teacher. During college, I volunteered at a shelter for teenage mothers and as a Big Sister for a wonderful little girl. After getting my Masters in early childhood education, I worked as a first grade teacher for seven years and absolutely loved it! I would judge a good day by how many times I was called mom. I am now a stay-at-home-mom and love every minute of it! I have always been a very happy and optimistic person, but nothing compares to the joy that Liliana brings me every day.

I enjoy spending time with friends and family, swimming in the ocean, cooking, painting, running and most of all, playing with Liliana. Some of our favorite family vacation spots are Cape Cod, Boothbay Harbor, East Hill Farm and Nantucket.

Gregg (by Gregg)

I was born in Akron, Ohio and grew up with my parents, two older brothers and an older sister. There was always unconditional love, attention and support in my family. It was a safe, nurturing and happy home.

In high school, my mom worked in the guidance office, so she was always close when I needed extra money for the cafeteria or a ride home from school. I was the captain of the football team and member of student council. In college my passion for football and politics thrived and continues to this day.

My parents were great role models providing endless examples of nurturing, compassion and integrity. My greatest personal achievement has been raising our daughter, Liliana. The most important thing I can do in my life is to raise happy and healthy children. Everything else comes second.

I am fortunate to enjoy and be successful in my career in consulting/technology. We are very close to our parents, siblings and extended family. I enjoy playing basketball, goofing around with Amanda and Lily, golfing, running, reading, relaxing on the beach, volunteering with youth in my community, cooking, watching political shows and entertaining friends and family.
